Two in a Row for Luisa at National Maths Awards
'Have you got Maths Eyes?' is a project dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds discover the maths they use in their everyday lives.
During the month of October, all interested individuals and groups from the island of Ireland can enter into the Maths Eyes photography and poster competition.
Entrants submit their work online, and the competition is open to participants of all ages and backgrounds. Winners receive recognition for their efforts and have the opportunity to showcase their work at a national awards event which usually takes place in the Department of Education, Dublin.

Luisa Foley is a winner for the second time in a row in the under 14 category of the 'Have You Got Maths Eyes?' competition for her poster entitled 'Vanishing Vector in the Railway Sector'.

The award ceremony took place at The Clock Tower, Department of Education and Skills, Marlborough Street, Dublin on Wednesday 29 April where award winners were acknowledged for their achievements in developing a positive approach and discovering a new perspective on maths in their daily life.

Luisa was presented with a plaque and a printed poster by Minister Hildegarde Naughton.
